On completion of this unit, learners will:

• Critically analyse the uses, limitations, benefits and effects of mesotherapy equipment, products and techniques
• Formulate consultation, planning and preparation protocols for mesotherapy techniques
• Demonstrate proficiency in the application of mesotherapy techniques

Learners are required to hold a level 5 needling or mesotherapy qualification or equivalent.

The primary purpose of this qualification is to prepare learners for employment or self-employment in the beauty aesthetic industry, providing Mesotherapy. Additionally, learners may choose to further develop their knowledge and skills by completing additional specialist qualifications at Level 4 and 5, including:

• VTCT Skills(ITEC) Level 6 Award in Skin Peeling
