This advanced qualification develops the knowledge, judgement and practical ability required to assess tattoos, select suitable treatment approaches and provide professional laser tattoo fading and removal treatments. You will explore tattoo types, laser wavelengths, ink pigments and the factors that can affect the rate of clearance.

Entry requirements
You must hold a recognised full Level 4 Laser and IPL qualification before enrolling. A Level 4 Core of Knowledge award alone does not meet the entry requirement. Learners holding Level 3 Beauty Therapy or an equivalent qualification may first progress through the full Level 4 Laser and IPL qualification.
