1. SUBJECT OF THE CONTRACT

1.1 The trainer accepts the student onto the training programme consisting of both theoretical and practical elements.
1.2 Upon satisfactory completion of the programme, the student will be awarded a Best You Training Ltd / BY Beauty Training Ltd
Accredited CertificateIf a refund is issued for any training course, any certificate of completion (whether printed or digital) that has been issued in relation to that course is immediately void and must not be used, presented, or relied upon for any purpose. Where a physical certificate has been provided, it must be returned to us upon request. Where a digital certificate has been provided, you must permanently delete all copies in your possession or control (including any saved, downloaded, or shared versions) and confirm deletion if requested. We reserve the right to notify relevant accrediting bodies or third parties where a certificate has been cancelled following a refund..

2. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS

2.1 The Trainer:

2.1.1 Provides training consisting of both theoretical and practical components.
2.1.2 Provides a training environment that meets workplace protection, health and hygiene requirements.
2.1.3 Ensures a safe and professional learning environment.
2.1.4 Issues a certificate upon satisfactory completion of the training programme.
2.1.5 Treats the student respectfully at all times.

2.2 The Student:

2.2.1 Agrees to attend training as scheduled and to arrive on time.
2.2.2 Complies with all hygiene and safety requirements and accepts full responsibility for their actions.
2.2.3 Treats all equipment, materials, and resources with care and respect.
2.2.4 Notifies the trainer at least 24 hours in advance if unable to attend a training session.
2.2.5 Confirms that they hold, or will hold prior to commencement, the correct prerequisite qualifications required for the course.
2.2.6 Accepts responsibility for arranging their own insurance where required (e.g. student insurance when working on models or case studies outside the venue).
2.2.7 Agrees that full payment must be completed prior to the practical element of training.
2.2.8 Accepts full responsibility in the event of a needle-stick injury and consents to receive emergency first aid if required.
2.2.9 Indemnifies the trainer and training venue against any liability, damages, costs, or expenses arising from treatments performed during or after training.
2.2.10 Acknowledges that the trainer and training venue are not responsible for business success or failure following certification.
2.2.11 Treats the trainer respectfully at all times.
2.2.12 Accepts responsibility for providing suitable models for training where required.
2.2.13 Ensures all models complete consultation and consent forms prior to treatment.
2.2.14 Confirms that they meet the requirements necessary to obtain professional insurance post-training.

3. ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS

3.1 If the student withdraws from training of their own accord, no tuition fees already paid will be refunded.
3.2 The student is not guaranteed a pass. Reasonable additional support and guidance may be provided to assist the student in achieving competency.
3.3 Best You Training is not responsible for supplying products, materials, or prescriptions, although recommendations may be provided.
3.4 This agreement comes into force on the date of registration.
3.5 VTCT Prerequisites & Enrolment Conditions
3.5.1 Enrolment onto VTCT-regulated or accredited courses is strictly subject to the student meeting all published entry requirements and prerequisite criteria.
3.5.2 Payment of course fees does not guarantee enrolment, course commencement, or certification where prerequisite requirements are not met.
3.5.3 Students are solely responsible for ensuring they meet all prerequisite qualifications, experience, and eligibility requirements prior to purchase and course commencement.
3.5.4 Where prerequisites are not met, the student may be prevented from starting or continuing the course and may be advised on suitable alternative training or progression routes.
3.5.5 Best You Training reserves the right to request evidence of prerequisite qualifications at any stage prior to or during the course, and/or require completion of a prerequisite self-declaration during registration.
3.5.6 Learners are responsible for ensuring they meet all entry requirements for any VTCT or accredited course. This may include, where applicable, prior qualifications, relevant experience, minimum age requirements, English language competency, and suitability for practical elements.
3.5.7 Best You Training does not assess learner eligibility at the point of purchase. Failure to meet stated prerequisites, or failure to provide valid evidence when requested, may result in withdrawal from the course and/or ineligibility for certification.
3.5.8 No refunds will be issued where a learner is unable to proceed due to unmet prerequisites or insufficient evidence, in accordance with awarding body and regulatory requirements.
3.6 Certificates are produced in duplicate. One copy is retained by Best You Training and one copy is issued to the student. Both copies hold equal legal validity. Replacement certificates are charged at £9.99 plus postage and packaging.
3.7 Training fees are non-refundable. One course transfer may be permitted under force majeure circumstances, subject to official supporting evidence. Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
3.8 Photographs and/or video recordings taken during training remain the property of Best You Training Ltd and must not be shared publicly or with third parties without prior written consent.
3.9 All training manuals, materials, and course content remain the intellectual property of Best You Training Ltd and are protected under copyright law.
3.10 Students may be required to attend additional classroom assessments where necessary for qualification or insurance purposes.

4. COPYRIGHT & CONSENT

4.1 All training content, manuals, images, and videos provided by Best You Training Ltd, Best You Beauty & Wellbeing Ltd, and BY Beauty Training Ltd are protected under UK copyright law.
4.2 Copyright prohibits:

• Copying or distributing manuals
• Renting or lending manuals
• Uploading manuals or materials online
• Sharing images, videos, or intellectual property without written permission

4.3 Legal action may be taken in the event of copyright infringement.
4.4 Students acting as models consent to treatments and agree to disclose all relevant medical information prior to participation.
4.5 Students acknowledge that treatments may involve risks including, but not limited to, cuts, abrasions, burns, swelling, or other complications.
4.6 Students accept full responsibility for any medical treatment or associated costs arising from complications.
4.7 Participation as a model is voluntary, and students release Best You Training Ltd and its representatives from liability arising from such participation.

5. REFUNDS (Training Courses)

5.1 Classroom training cancellations or rescheduling must be requested at least 7 days prior to the scheduled date. Cancellations within this period will receive a credit only. A £50 administration fee applies to re-bookings.
5.2 Online training fees are non-refundable. Transfers may be permitted if the course has not been accessed within 7 days of purchase.
5.3 Once any online content has been accessed, in full or in part, no refund will be issued due to the digital nature of the product.
5.4 Students are advised to review all course information carefully prior to purchase.

6. PRODUCTS: DELIVERY, RETURNS & REFUNDS

6.1 Dispatch & Delivery

• Standard items are usually dispatched within 48 hours of cleared payment.
• Specialist or machine orders may require up to 28 days for delivery.
• Delivery times are estimates only and subject to external factors beyond our control.

6.2 Non-Refundable Charges

• Training services
• Administrative fees
• Deposits and part-payments
• Postage and packaging costs
• Additional service fees

6.3 Custom or Made-to-Order Items
Refunds are discretionary. Where approved, a 25% restocking fee and any applicable deductions will apply.

6.4 Return Conditions

• Items must be returned securely packaged in their original, undamaged packaging.
• Failure to comply may result in refusal of the return.
