VTCT Level 3 Award in Adult Basic Life Support, AED & Anaphylaxis Management
The VTCT Skills Level 3 Award in Adult Basic Life Support, AED and Management of Anaphylaxis is aimed at those learners who have an interest or responsibility to attain knowledge and practical competences required to provide basic life support and manage anaphylaxis in emergency situations. This qualification can also be used to support the prerequisite requirements for VTCT Skills Aesthetic suite of qualifications.

What does this qualification cover?
The qualification covers the following areas in line with the First Aid at Work Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, Guidance on Regulations (L74) Resuscitation Council UK Guidelines:
• Assessing emergency situations
• Provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally
• Provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally
• Provide first aid to a casualty with anaphylaxis
Through this qualification the learner will develop the knowledge and practical competences required to deal with an adult who is unresponsive or experiencing an anaphylactic reaction.

Step 1 - Online theory / assessments & multiple choice questions
Step 2 - 1 day at Best You Training for practical & examination
Entry requirements
Good standard of English sufficient to complete the course competences and online examinations
Students must be over 18 years old to enrol on this course
