1. SUBJECT OF THE CONTRACT

1.1 The trainer accepts the student on the training programme consisting of both theoretical and practical parts.
1.2 Upon satisfactory completion of the programme, the student will be awarded a Best You Training Ltd / BY Beauty Training Ltd Accredited Certificate.

2. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS

2.1 The Trainer:

2.1.1 Provides training consisting of both theoretical and practical parts.
2.1.2 Provides the student with a training place that meets workplace protection and hygiene requirements.
2.1.3 Ensures a safe learning environment.
2.1.4 Issues the student with a certificate upon satisfactory completion of the training programme.
2.1.5 Treats the student respectfully at all times.

2.2 The Student:

2.2.1 Guarantees to attend training as agreed with the trainer and to arrive on time.
2.2.2 Observes hygiene and safety requirements in the training venue and accepts full responsibility for their actions.
2.2.3 Treats all equipment, materials and resources provided with care and respect.
2.2.4 Informs the trainer at least 24 hours in advance if unable to attend a training session.
2.2.5 Confirms that they hold the correct prerequisite qualifications to enrol on the training programme.
2.2.6 Agrees that they are responsible for their own insurance (e.g. student insurance when working on models or case studies outside the venue).
2.2.7 Agrees to complete payment for the training course in full prior to the practical element.
2.2.8 Accepts full responsibility in the event of a needle-stick injury and agrees to receive emergency first aid if required.
2.2.9 Indemnifies the trainer and training venue from any liability, damages, costs or expenses arising out of treatments performed by them during training or afterwards.
2.2.10 Accepts that the trainer and training venue are not responsible for their business success or failure post-certification.
2.2.11 Treats the trainer with respect at all times.
2.2.12 Accepts responsibility for providing their own models for training.
2.2.13 Ensures all models complete consultation forms prior to treatment.
2.2.14 Confirms that they have the correct prerequisites for gaining their own insurance post-training.

3. ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS

3.1 If the student withdraws from training of their own accord, the trainer will not refund any tuition fees already paid.
3.2 The student is not guaranteed a pass. However, Best You Training will provide additional support and guidance to help the student achieve their full potential.
3.3 Best You Training is not responsible for supplying products, materials or prescriptions, though recommendations can be provided.
3.4 This agreement comes into force on the day of registration.
3.5 Certificates are produced in duplicate: one copy remains with Best You Training, and the second copy is issued to the student. Both hold the same legal power. Replacement certificates are charged at £9.99 plus postage and packaging.
3.6 Training fees are non-refundable but may be transferred once to an alternative course/date under force majeure circumstances, subject to official proof. Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
3.7 Photographs and/or videos taken during training remain the property of Best You Training Ltd. They must not be shared on social media or with third parties without prior written consent.
3.8 Training manuals, materials and course content are the property of Best You Training Ltd and are protected by copyright law. Students must not copy, share or reproduce them without written consent.
3.9 Students may be required to attend classroom assessments if needed for insurance purposes.

4. COPYRIGHT & CONSENT

4.1 All training content, manuals, images, and videos provided by Best You Training Ltd, Best You Beauty & Wellbeing Ltd, and BY Beauty Training Ltd are protected by copyright law.
4.2 Copyright prohibits:

  • Copying or distributing manuals.
  • Renting or lending manuals.
  • Uploading manuals online.
  • Sharing images, videos or intellectual property without permission.
    4.3 Legal action will be taken if copyright is breached.
    4.4 Students acting as models on training days consent to treatments and agree to disclose any medication, recent surgery, or relevant health issues prior to participation.
    4.5 Students understand that treatments may involve risks such as cuts, abrasions, burns, swelling, or other complications.
    4.6 Students accept full responsibility for medical care and costs in the event of side effects or complications.
    4.7 Students consent voluntarily to participate as models and release Best You Training Ltd and its agents from liability arising from participation.

5. REFUNDS (Training Courses)

5.1 Classroom training: Cancellations or rescheduling must be requested at least 7 days prior. Cancellations within this period will receive a credit only (no refunds). Re-bookings are subject to a £50 admin fee.
5.2 Online training: Fees are non-refundable. Courses may be transferred if they have not been accessed within 7 days of purchase.
5.3 Once any course content has been accessed (including partial viewing), no refund will be issued due to the digital nature of the product.
5.4 Students are advised to review course information fully before purchase.

6. PRODUCTS: DELIVERY, RETURNS & REFUNDS

6.1 Dispatch & Delivery

  • Standard items are usually dispatched within 48 hours of payment.
  • Specialist or machine orders may take up to 28 days for delivery.
  • Delivery times are estimates only and subject to availability, courier delays, or circumstances beyond our control.

6.2 Non-Refundable Charges
The following are non-refundable:

  • Training services
  • Administrative fees
  • Deposits and partial payments
  • Postage and packaging costs
  • Additional service fees

6.3 Custom / Made-to-Order Items
Refunds are discretionary. Where approved, a 25% restocking fee and any relevant deductions will apply.

6.4 Return Conditions

  • Returned items must be securely packaged in their original, undamaged packaging.
  • Non-compliance may result in refusal of the return.
