– Post-treatment consultation – including appropriate aftercare advice, the importance of sun protection, and creating a follow-up treatment plan.
– How to perfect your customer service and client communication skills to enhance professionalism and employability prospects.
– You will carry out dermaplaning treatments on live models provided by our academy.
– How to safely and ethically prepare the client, ensuring the working environment is suitable and all tools and equipment are sterile.
– Understanding correct PPE requirements for aesthetic practitioners and the full dermaplaning procedure.
– How to select and safely use dermaplaning blades and tools correctly.
– How to determine treatment depth, pressure, and technique while monitoring the client’s skin response throughout the treatment.

– Online theory tests (multiple choice)
– Observations and oral questioning
– Practical assessments and assignments
– Portfolio evidence

Course Structure:

Step 1 – Online theory / assessments & multiple choice questions
Step 2 – One day at Best You Training for practicals
Step 3 – One day at Best You Training for examinations

Entry Requirements:

– A relevant Level 3 qualification
– A good standard of English sufficient to complete the course competences and online examinations
– Students must be over 18 years old to enrol on this course
